FACTS. - Knowlton, an attorney, assisted Ellis and Karen in the sale of a house and received $5,599 in trust. Ellis and Karen
were divorced and the funds in trust were awarded to Karen. Upon learning of that award, Knowlton claimed an attorney's lien
in the funds based on scanty evidence of fees owed by Ellis. Karen recovered the trust funds after obtaining a judgment against
Knowlton. PROCEEDINGS. - After disciplinary proceedings, the Bar made findings and recommendations. Knowlton petitioned the Supreme
Court for review.
